Hailing from Gunnedah, Jake's journey so far has taken him from Melbourne to Cairns, lending his captivating Aussie-as voice to various Agriculture and show events.
Notably, Jake has become the trusted voice behind the mic at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Australia's largest ticketed event. Additionally, Jake has had the honour of serving as the Master of Ceremonies at Beef Australia, the largest beef cattle expo in the southern hemisphere, held annually at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Jake Smith hails from Gunnedah, NSW. He attended Gunnedah South Public School before continuing his education at Farrar Agriculture High School. After completing his schooling, Jake ventured into the cattle feedlot industry, working as a pen rider and contributing to the feeding section of the business.
In 2010, Jake stumbled into the world of broadcasting when he unexpectedly announced the Gunnedah show rodeo after the scheduled announcer failed to show up. This serendipitous opportunity ignited his passion for broadcasting, leading him to announce agricultural show events across Australia, from Melbourne to Cairns.
Notably, Jake serves as the announcer for the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Australia's largest ticketed event, and as the MC for Beef Australia, the largest beef cattle expo in the southern hemisphere held annually in Rockhampton.
Currently, Jake is based in Frenchs Forest, where he works at Sky Racing as a National Racing Service presenter and panel operator. With his unique journey and expertise in broadcasting, Jake continues to captivate audiences with his charismatic presence and expert commentary.
